I need to know if I can move concrete piers out of the trunk and onto the hand truck.

I need a quick solution to brace up a young cherry tree. It's wobbly for some reason but also close to a fence, my house and my neighbor's house. Windy conditions predicted.

I'm thinking of buying piers and attaching supports to them. I can get them loaded for me at the store & move them at home with a handtruck. Don't think I'm strong enough to sink posts or rebar and my husband is too busy this week to do it.

Any other ideas for tree support welcome, too. Planning to use
old bike tires around the tree itself. I think this will need to be a long-term deal & using piers will let me move them further from the tree as it gets older.

I have a carpet in bath and thinking of changing it to Vinyl floor as my kids splash a lot of water when in bath. Is Vinyl the best option in this case or is there a better suggestion.

Thanks in Advance.

I noticed this whilst trying to clean the filter on my dishwasher. Could I have knocked something by mistake that's messed up the water?

I have plain cream walls, can't paint, can't put any sort of hole (not even tacks) in the walls. I've decorated in green, browns, earthy tones. I have no money for wall decor. I'd like large, bright wall art. Please, give me ideas!

When I saw it it was on it's hind legs waving its arms in the air and waving its antennas around. I really hope it's not a deadly bug.. or even worse a roach. Please help me thanks!!!

I bought some Malibu landscape solar lights. I installed them yesterday, and they were working in the evening. Today it rained and some of them stopped working. Or better they are flickering. Light goes on and off.
Could the rain have effected the lights or do they still need more time to charge?
Please help because I am ready to return them. So frustrated.

Not sure how to explain, the water level in my toilet becomes low after it is flushed. So about every 1 hour or so, my toilet starts running, constantly filling with water. Once it reaches the water level, its stop. It does this all day long. Any ideas and do it yourself advice?

P.S. Hiring a plummer is not advice...

Thanks,

On many kinds of windows, there are these little "eyelashes" for lack of a better term. They're permanent, flexible, and they insulate a small area. I think they'd work very well around my doors (I can see some daylight), but I can't just go up to the hardware store guy and say, "Hey man, got any window lashes?" Well, I could, but I'm trying not to sound like an idiot if it's at all possible. If you know what these are called, the least you'll get is a thumbs up, probably best answer status. Thanks.

Two year old mobile home; friend wants to paint, but walls seem very thin, and might not absorb paint well. Any other ideas for the walls would be helpful. Thanks!!

We will be having a tree planting ceremony and somewhere I had read that you can throw a fish in the hole dug before putting in the tree instead of something else (fertilizer? tree food?). If this does help the tree grow, then is there a specific kind of fish or does it have to be treated with something? I am thinking kids helping us plant the tree, might have fun with this part - either that or we put something else in the hole before planting like messages or their time capsules. What do you think would help the tree & be fun for kids? Thanks

I plan to make some home improvements by installing the house siding. My contractor suggested to use Royal Crest which is 0.040" under one of Royal Building Products. Is this brand name good and reliable? Is 0.040" good enough in New York City? What is the most common color for people to choose for house siding?

Thanks in advance.
