I look at the web for miniature garden tools and they are miniatures of regular gardening tools - I'm trying to find specifically the Japaneses rake for sand gardens . Thank you.

A bonsai root rake would be easy to find -- they normally have just 3 tines, but I think it would work -- the idea of Zen gardens is patience & care, I think.

There are fairly cheap ones (under $10); the best are Japanese.
