Roaches.. EWWW... I would suggest you mix a solution of Borax available in the laundry aisle and shortening like Crisco and put it in medicine bottle caps or pieces of cardboard behind your appliances/cupboards etc.. Just keep it away from children/pets.. The borax is poisonous to roaches so they eat the shortening and the borax kills them.. It's cheap and easy to make.. Also, you might want to start putting any food items enclosed in cardboard boxes inside airtight containers.. Wipeout your cupboards with a mild bleach solution 1/2 c. per gallon of water... Since roaches carry diseases. Good luck..

Yes You Are Developing A Roach Problem, They Do Bite But Are Not Poison.. They Are Very Much Attracted To Food Of All Kinds So Make Sure To Put Everything Up At Night, Clean Any Dishes With Food On Them And Make Sure To Sweep And Mop Because They Feed Off Any Little Piece Of Food They Can Find, They Are Very Afraid Of Light And Only Come Out In The Darkest Of Night.. Good Luck.. P.S Buy A Can Of Raid Just In Case And Be Careful With It Around Kids..

See 1 probably have 10.

Food, Water and dark cool spaces attract Roaches. They do not bite but are a health hazard.

Best & safe long term control is to make a mix of Bait (yellow cornmeal) and Diatomeacous Earth (pool filter media). The roaches go for the bait, get the powder on their leggs, injest the powder when they clean their leggs. The powder dries up their bodies. Mix is safe for children & pets. Blow mix under appliances, hard to reach corners and in dark storage areas.

Have used for years with great sucess.

There is a product called "Combat" available at manyAce & TrueValue Hardware Stores. which is suposed to work.

Roaches avoid light if possible.
They breed rapidly; you have a start of a problem.
Roaches will head for sinks, tubs, etc.. for water spots for their drink, live in walls & cracks, munch on any tiny scap they can feed on. Roaches are in the upper list of disease carriers; they don't like people and not going to attack/bite you.

People have used foggers, roach sprays, exterminator, roach traps or leave boric acid out for them (in Borax). I have tried them all which seemed to keep the population down but didn't eliminate them until I was directed to:

get the Gold not regular. was not an offensive odor either.

If you saw only 2 big ones, they are probably not house roaches. They are what we call Tree roaches, about 2 inches long . Just smash them with something, they won't hurt you..........########
