At what temperature does it qualify as "hot"?

The usual water heater temperature setting is 120F/49C. The cold water temperature is set by the ground that the water supply pipe comes through and is usually around 50F/10C. A comfortable shower temperature is 100F/38C.

About 100 degrees F. I have a jacuzzi with a digital thermostat. Below 100 F, it seems just very warm, but not hot. At 105 F, it seems a bit too hot. At 102 F, it seems just about right to call it hot.

After normal body temperature. That is 98.6 Fahrenheit or above is considered as hot and the boiling point of water is 212 Fahrenheit.
