Thinking about re-sodding my lawn. I live in South Florida so Hot, Humid wet summers. The most popular sod here is bermuda, but can anyone recommend something softer? LIke a ryegrass but that is still a little tolerant? I've heard ryegrass drys easily in heat.

Thanks!!

I moved into my home 4 years ago. All of my trees were planted at that time. The trees were planted at a depth shallow enough to where my tree rings are above regular ground level (maybe because I live in the DFW area in Texas and the soil is thick clay?). Now I am ready to let my grass grow up to the trunk of trees so my trees look more natural and like they have been there all along. Can I just taper the rings down to ground level and let the grass grow over....or will that cut into the root ball of the tree?

Our family has 3 pairs in the garage, and I want them off the garage floor, cause they are big and floppy, rarely used, take up floor space, and annoy me.

How can I hang them on the wall neatly?

Some sort of.... thingy to hold them neat on the wall and out the way?

My dog peed all over my down comforter. Right now we are trying to get the smell out by letting the half she marked sit in the tub with a little water and baking soda. People are telling me to put it in the washer, but I dont have a front loading washer and its too late to take it to a laundromat. Can I still dry it in my at home dryer, even though its not an extra large dryer and the comforter is a California King?

Need guidance from Texas or Southern gardeners ...

We have Bermuda in the front yard 1/2 acre And Kentucky Blue grass/ Fescue on the back 1/2 acre..
.
Which goes down on the yard first ...The weed without the feed or the Fall fertilizer...Would you please name a product that weed and does not feed please...I have the fertilizer just can't figure out the name brand of a product that just de-weeds our yard...

Also its still gonna be 80 degrees in the afternoons for the next couple weeks...when is the temperature correct for the applications of both??

Thanks for your help.....

I had a plumber come out and try to unclog those holes and the hole that lets water out of the basin, and it helped flush successfully for a while. But I still think maybe there is not enough water pressure coming into the basin. So I would at a minimum like to unclog those two holes and see if that helps. Is there something stronger (besides a plumber) than a hanger that would help me break up the clogged porcelain/enamel, whatever is clogging it and that will not break the toilet? Thanks!

I recently moved into a home with a gas oven dating from probably the fiftgies. Anytime i try to bake, if i let it stay in the oven for the amount of time called for, its toast. With bread or cake and i cut the time in half, its well done on the edges and still very doughy in the center.

My husband and I moved into our first house about a year and a half ago. Our next door neighbor is nice, but somewhat annoying. Lately, he has been mentioning about how I need to rake his yard because the leaves are from our tree. Maybe I'm abnormal, but I don't mind leaves in our yard, so I don't even rake my own. I don't feel like it's my duty to rake his yard either. What do you all think?

I have just installed a toilet. It seemed to go pretty easy, put I just want to know one thing. If I installed it incorrectly, how long would it take to leak. I didn't replumb the tank, I just put the wax ring in and set the toilet.

Thanks for your help!
