I live in central florida and I was told that tulips dont grow in florida at all it is much too hot all year long . even the winter does not get cold enough . good luck .

Yes they will. South florida winter has high temps in the upper 70s to low 80s. Although treat as winter anuals or bring them inside when the temperatures go into the 90s

The winters do not get cold enough for Tulips. SO if you want them to grow and flower, the vest option is to set them out in the cool weather, them after they have flowered and died back. life the bulbsm let them dry and place themin your fridge until the weather cools off again and it is time to re-plant the bulbs.

Absolutely! Only, they are considered annuals. You will need to put them in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator for about 4-6 weeks (or a bit longer, if possible), then plant. When they decide to wake up, they'll come out and bloom and be beautiful. When they get ugly, just dig them up and put them back in the fridge till next year. It's just like forcing blooms indoors, only you do it outdoors.
