Thats the only way, unless you use real snow or buy it already flocked.

This is an answer from way back when I was a kid and we could not afford a flocked tree. You can use laundry detergent, old time stuff that is white and not full of color beads, etc. Not Ivory but a cheap brand that is a white powder. Just slowly add water until you have the consistency that you desire and put it on the tree. Try a sample spot to see if you are happy with how it looks after it dries. It worked when I was a kid...dont see why it wouldnt work today.

What do you think "Flocking" is? Its spray snow. Or you can leave your tree out in the REAL snow and let nature Flock it.
