This is a silly question, but i've heard two ways of preserving them, in the fridge an outside.. Where do i put them so it can last until halloween day?

An uncarved pumpkin will last a very long time outside and should make it to Halloween just fine. Especially since it is only 4 days away. You pumpkin will likely last well into December or longer if left uncarved.
Good Luck

I havn't heard of storing them in the fridge. I always store them outside on display on the grass somewhere. I heard that storing them on cement (like a patio or steps) rots them faster. Happy Halloween!
