I need to temporarily uninstall a door room to allow entry of a piece of furniture to the room. However, the door has a built-in concealed door closer (http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?isSearch=true&fh_search=concealed+door+closer&selected=products).
If I unscrewed it from the door frame, probably I won't be able to install it again. Any idea how to uninstall then re-install such a door closer?

I mean, can you iron say a pair of jeans after you've worn for them for the past week? Or is it not good because they already have dirt on it and by ironing over it, it will somehow be bad for the pants? Thanks

Can you just get up there...(High pitches on the roof at different points) and chase him out..or should I use a bug bomb spray and he'll run out on his own? In fact, its not alone..I think its two a wife and a husband.

Kitchen vent is in middle of house. Beams in ceiling need to be cut to get to outside via 25 ft direct path. Easier would be to go down to basement and then out, 40 ft. total. Can kitchen duct go down or must it go flat or up? Vent has 400cfm fan; could add another at end.

I live in a very old house. The code inspector came through and found many violations to code (sadly) and said he didn't think my loan would be enough to remedy everything that was in violation. It was nice to find out what needed to be fixed but here's my question. My house heats the upstairs using floor registers in each room (they can be opened/closed) and we've never frozen to death. He walked through and said that there had to be a heat source in every upper room. Is this right? My house is not a rental unit. My family lives in it, we own it. Everything I've found says that the daytime temp has to be 68 degrees F and nighttime temp 55 degrees F (for rentals). It says nothing about heat sources or how this applies to homes that are occupied by their owners. Code inspector is saying I need to add heat sources which costs money. Is this right? Where can I get a detailed list of Michigan codes?
