Can you iron worn clothing?

I mean, can you iron say a pair of jeans after you've worn for them for the past week? Or is it not good because they already have dirt on it and by ironing over it, it will somehow be bad for the pants? Thanks

Not a good idea.You will burn the dirt that's on them, right in for good.

yes you can iron them, use a spray bottle and spray a little water on an area of the jeans and iron. It will make stains and dirt harder to get out when you do wash them.
