I can not find the term for this anywhere. I have recently looked into a house that appears to have doors inside that have windows above them with cranks to open them, what are these called and what was the purpose of this type of door?

I love peach roses but I have never found them at a local nursury. So I was wondering if it is called by a different name. Also what is the scientific name of this rose. I so desperately want to get one to plant in my yard. I know that there are several that have been called peach roses so her is a picture of the specific rose and color I am talking about. http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/1307/1008595574jg7.jpg Any help in this will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

A lot of my houseplants have spent the summer on the front porch, and they've done beautifully. Now I need to bring them back in ... some are in their own pots, others are in mixed baskets with summer annuals that are ready for the trash heap.

Any tips on how to reacclimate the plants to the warmer indoor temperatures? Also, is there anything I should spray or wash them with to make sure they're not bringing bugs in? Should I re-pot everything first? The plants are crotons, white butterfly nephthytis, palms, and some other kind of tropical.

Any help would be appreciated ... Thank You!

I was testing a bathroom GFCI outlet. I tripped the outlet with my GFCI tester but the outlet still signaled that it had power. But the tester indicated that everything was wired correctly. What could cause this? The outlet definitely tripped and the test button was not sticking. Is it grounded improperly or is it just a bad GFCI outlet? Thanks for your help.

The best I ever saw was a house with a broken window.
The burglar was lying on the ground, pillowcase in hand...
Inside the house was the OWNER with a shotgun, pointing at the window.
The word "NEXT!" was along the bottom of the sign.

Runner up; "This house is protected by two guard dogs. Neither have arthritus! Do you?"
