Hi everyone. I'm looking for some sort of tile adhesive to create a coating in a cylindrical tank (it's for an experiment). The thing is, this sort of adhesive must be removable as I don't want to ruin the tank. I was told by a friend that there is some sort of tile adhesive you can take off (dissolve) with hot water. Do you know the brand or name of this product? Do you know any similar product? Clay won't work because, if it dries, it gets way too hard to be taken off. If it doesn't dry, it washes off very easily with simple water. Any ideas? Suggestions? Cheers!

Was replacing some light switches and plug sockets in the weekend an the only one which puzzled me was the double light switch for the kitchen light and the outside light.

The switch is made up of 2 MK Grid switches, one for the kitchen light so that is fine, just the usual wires and one for the outside light which has four holes.

These are 2 for supply and 2 for load and an earth. However the switch I bought only has the usual three holes. Any idea how to wire this up? There is 2 live and 2 neutral wires currently.

Any help would be appreciated.

My son had some friends stay the nite for his birthday on Friday, however, one of the boys had an "accident " and peed on my couch. I tried the vinager cleaning and that did not help any. Other than having it steamed clean by professionals, what can I do to get it out of my couch?

I want that big country sized house....with lots of lawn....a barn shed with a play area and loft.....a pond/animal wildlife area (even if I have to build this myself to attract more animals). Thats my dream place.....but I dont want to go too far from convenience.....meaning my walmarts, malls, wawas, downtown, ocean front, amusement parks and everything else near me...not to mention all the friends and family...

Would you move if it meant more space, bigger house, or just more of nature? Is there a limit to how far you'd go?

We are building a maze for Halloween in our backyard. We've decided to use painter's plastic sheeting as walls since it's only temporary, but tall. But we are having trouble coming up with a suitable way to support them. We originally thought anchoring pvc pipes into the lawn and taping them to the sheeting would work, but it has turned out to be unsuccessful and costly. Any ideas? Some kind of tall stakes? They need to be at least 6ft tall in ground and cost effective. Help!! Thanks!

I was going to buy the Kenmore calypso elite but have read the reviews and realized it's a terrible machine. Pretty but useless. I'm wondering what else to consider for a long life and good service in washer and dryer. Thanks.

Ok, so I have quite a quandary!

My husband's t-shirts have a persistent stink. It smells like mildew and dirt. I cannot get rid of the rank odor! Here are the details:

-I do our laundry together
-The only things that stink are his shirts (not my clothing, not his pants or underwear, not socks, nothing! just his t-shirts!)
-The stink isn't always apparent immediately after washing; sometimes it comes out after he wears the shirt (we think his body warmth "brings out" the smell)
-The shirts in question are both often-worn shirts and infrequently-worn shirts
-I have used baking soda in the wash, followed by vinegar.

What the heck is going on????

So what's the best way to make your clothes last a long time!

Some of my shirts are starting to fade in color.
I got some holes in some of my shirts. Don't know if i hot it on something, or it's like that naturally. Or maybe that shirt was so thin feeling, and it wasn't that strong.

So i wear dark color clothes. I wear Black, Grey, Olive, sometimes green, brown, and that's about it.

So how do I get my clothes to last. From the washing to the hanging and storing.

Surely there is a proper or very effective way to maintain clothes.

So what are good detergants. I just use the Costco brand detergant. THe white powderly stuff. I use cold water only. Then I put in these Costco "Kirtland" softener sheets into the dryer. I put the drying on low. Then I just hang my shirts after i get them out, and i just toss my boxers, and socks in a box. Then jeans I kind of just shake them a bit and fold them.

What can I do better?
