No black walls - it will look like a cave!
You want your room to look like it belongs to a girl, not a kennel. After people are there a while, THEN they notice the dog stuff.
Pick favorite color off your dogs coats - white, or buff, beige, tan, brown, whatever.
Pick one for walls, and the black of electronics, and pink bedding, drapes, and throw pillows.
OR paint the walls a bright [ hot pink ] or vivid pastel [ rose ] pink . Then add the 'dog' color or a pink and black print bedding, drapes, and throw pillows.
Make sure you have a good reading chair with lighting, and a comfy desk [ homework ] chair.
I would use pics of the dog for a collage on one wall [ opposite from bed ], or one collage for each dog [ like a gallery ].
Get a mirror, and put up across from windows to reflect more light, making room look larger.
Make big 'dog bone' pillows, in each dogs predominant color, with their name in the collar color [ for bed, or for dogs ].
Pick one color and material for all artwork frames, mirror, etc. - oak/walnut, brass/chrome, or colored enamel.
Make a wreath of eucalyptus or grape vine, and dogwood
flowers [ hehehe! ] Or, put some dogwood flowers in a vase.
Keep the dogs clean, the room vacuumed, and the room aired out, and you will do fine.
