We have Everest double glazing installed in our house around 1992 (when we moved in the 10 year guarantee was in force). The house was built in 1903 and has decorative brickwork above windows.
The three longest windows (8 feet) now have pronounced sagging- probably about an inch in the middle. This is not so much the actual window frame but the internal 'overhang' (the width of the wall) implying 'load bearing' windows. The only other large window in the house is a bay window has no load over the windows and shows no sagging.
I assume from this that the original windows were load bearing but there was no need for a lintel as the top part of the frame was strong enough.

Surely the company should have been professional enough to quote for a lintel if this was required?
I need to know where I stand with the company and also what danger there is (there having been over 15 years since they were fitted).
Also how much would it cost to rectify?

It hasnt rain in quite a while, but I havent had any problems with the water or pressure, but it seems like the pump is always "on". I purchased this house almost a year ago, never
had a well, so I now very little about it.
I moved in December, rain season here in NC, and remember the pump going on and off, now its constantly running, Is it normal for the pump to be running that much? any websites to read up on how a water well works?

thanks

I have an emmersion heater and boiler for central heating. I think, they both come from the same tank of water.

When the immersion is on to heat my water and the central heating is also on on the boiler, the radiators dont come on. Immersion goes off, radiators come on. Is that normal?

I need to give a presentation in my horticulture class in 2 weeks over someone I interview in the field of horticulture.

None of the questions would be personal. I would just like to send a few emails so I can give my presentation.

I need to interview someone in the following professions...

Greenhouse grower
Florist
Retail Sales
Ground maintenance
Turf maintenance
Turf production
Nursery production
Arborist
Extension Agent
Research Technician
Horticultural Therapist
Golf Course Management
Landscape Design
Education

I would like to find someone in horticultural therapy since that is what I am going into, but I appreciate any help from anyone.

I posted this about 2 weeks ago, but I can't get the question to open anymore, and I have no idea why :(.

Thank you so much and I appreciate every reply!!!
