I would say no because the burners will come loose and bounce all over the place. Now if you take the burner Assembly's out, you can transport it that way. They are very easy to remove and replace.

No you can't.
Appliances must be transported upright from one destination to another. Laying any appliance on its side can damage internal parts.
You must also secure the appliance to the vehicle with rope or tethers or other such strong materials. Bungee cords can pop off during transport, allowing the appliance to bounce around & get damaged.
If you're transporting the appliance in an open truck such as a Chevy, Toyota, Ford, etc, align the stove flush up against the side of the truck, preferably the passenger side. Flush up against the bed near the rearview window isn't smart. You have to be able to see behind you while driving, even for short distances.
If you don't have a bedliner, then place a blanket or towel on the bed to slide the stove onto it so you don't scratch up the bed. If you're using a covered truck such as U-haul, Budget, Enterprise, etc, make sure to close the door securely.

Yes, there's nothing in a gas stove to damage, don't worry. Use old carpets so you don't scratch it.
