I think it is sticking. Do I need to replace the brass body also?
I have water only on yet some rads do get a bit warm.
Will I have to drain my system? To replace.

my girlfriend did a load of laundry and when she took the laundry out she discovered it hadn't drained. I'm really pissed off cause I just bought it 3 months ago and she's careless and breaks things all the time. is it going to be inexpensive to repair? Its a samsung front load washer.

Finish/Trim carpenters;

I am going to have to hang some crown by myself, customer can't wait until my help is available. Two lengths are over 18' long. Material is finger jointed fir, custom milled. Up to twelve-fourteen feet I have had no problems doing this alone, but these lengths are too long. I definately don't want to have a length snap in half. Any suggestions on how to hold and shoot the nails by myself?
Has anyone tried double sided tape or Liquid Nails?
Thanks

when winter comes i am planning on turning, either my waterfall, or pipe to the shallow end off. i am doing this to reduce the curent and to stop the water getting to cold. i know that the wam water is at the bottom where my pump is, now should i stop my water fall that falls directly above the pump or stop the pipe that returns half the water to the shallow end. i have thought about raising the pump from the bottom but a lot of waste builds up on the bottom.

when the water is filling in the tank after i flush the toilet, i can still hear the sound of fresh water being added to the tank long after its been flushed but the water level inside the toilet bowl doesnt overflow. i have to manually touch the floater thing inside the tank to make the toilet stop making the noise like its adding and wasting water.
what can i do so that i dont have to manually touch the floater in the toilet tank to make the noise stop?

I have the following bulbs:

Freesia
Daffodil
Narcissus paperwhites
Tulips

It is October. They are to be planted between October and December. Do I go out and plant them or do I put them in my fridge until December? I am so confused. Should I supplement the soil with something?

I changed my ceiling light in the second floor this morning. Before I took off the original light I turned off my main switch located in the basement (i.e. no electricity for the entire second floor).
I'm just wondering, if I just turn off the switch for that light, is it still safe to touch the wire for that light ? Because I don't want to walking up and down several times next time....
