the element will cost probably between 40 and 85 dollars depending on the dryer. Find your model number and go to repairclinic.com you should be able to find he information there. As for how much to put one in...well, that depends on the servicer you call. They all have different service call fees and labor rates.

They're not difficult to put in. You could just call your local Marcone, provided there is one in your city or nearby and get the part from them.

Dryer Heating Element Cost

Cost of it may not be bad at all. The cost of having someone do it, well I would call around it could be anywhere from 60 to 150 depending upon how much they charge. If you buy the heating element yourself you will save yourself a lot of money than having a plumber come and do it. If you have the right make for the model you have I would say no more than 80 dollars for them to put it in. Call the place you bought it from and ask how much a new one will be, then call around to other places like sears, and so on and see how much they would sell you one for. Just make sure it's the right make for what you have. Get the make and model number off of it. The model number maybe on the back of the dryer. Like I said if you go buy the parts all you will need is a plumber to take the old out and put the new one in. So call around and find one at a reasonable price. Don't go with the cheapest or the most expensive ones, find some that charge between the two. They are more reliable and better to deal with I have found out. Good luck! =)

You might want to think about getting another dry. Sears has a Columbus Day sale, and for just about $100 more than the cost of getting the dryer fixed, you can buy a new one. Just a thought.

There are to many variables to give you a direct answer but a ballpark figure About $45.00 to $75.00 for the element depending on the type, style, age, etc, then the labor $45.00 to $100.00.

It shouldn't be over $125.00 for the whole thing. Of course you can buy a rebuilt dryer for this in most places, guaranteed.
