A bunch of people wrote on my jeans and I'm not sure if some of the dye is permanent. Is there any way to keep it from coming out?

Turn your jeans inside out before washing them. Use cold water and liquid detergent, and as little detergent as possible.
Or, dry clean them.

Always wash your jeans turned inside out if you do not want the color to fade too quickly.
Also, do not soak the jeans too long, and always use cold water, as hot water causes colour to fade.
You could also add one or two tablespoonfuls of any vinegar to the rinse cycle, as vinegar helps to seal the colour in.

Before you wash them for the first time soak them in a salt water solution. Then wash them as usual. Of course, wash them inside out. Good luck. 2D
