It took me 2 plus years to train my honey suckle on my fence in the back yard, and the property owners behind me are getting the house ready to REsell (directly behind me). The fence is MINE, and the plants are mine. They not only trimmed it to nothing, but then took their clippers and stuck them thru my fence and CUT the ROOT at the ground. I am so UP SET!!!! I know it might just be honey suckle but it took a Very long time to get it so BIG, and Trained, and not to mention the water, fertilizer, and my poor heart is broke!

Is there anything I can do? They have destroyed my pride, and hard work and dedication! I plan to plant more, but in the future when they have to REsell this house again, they may do the same thing. Can I keep it from happening?

Please Help!

Doesn't it annoy you when people have there sprinklers on and over 50% of what they are watering is cement and concrete?! Shouldn't these people be fined for wasting water!? I think so.

I am remodeling my bathroom and the house is on a slab. The room is stripped to the stud walls right now and I have installed drains. Which right now are roughed in, as such the drain pipe for the shower I want to put in is 2 inch and still has a rough cut opening around it. I am looking for the most economical way to have a functional shower floor (pan). Walls and ceiling I pretty much have figured out but it's the floor! Can I use the existing concrete florr possibly adding more concrete to get my 1/4" taper per foot? Paint and seal it? I need some ideas. Thanks.

The construction work done on our building was kind of shoddy. There's a huge gap where the air conditioner was installed that looks straight to outside. I swear I can hear people outside (and down 3 floors) clear as day through the outlet by my bed. Anyway, the point is the centipedes have overtaken my apartment, presumably through these various gaps to the outside world. Can I caulk these spaces? What would you recommend? My realty company is sloooow and I want to take care of this problem quickly, but don't want to do something permanent to my apartment that I may get in trouble for (read: charged for) later. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Help! I have a part time job, and I have to water my boss's garden (for some reason, that sounds like a sexual innuendo, but moving on.. LOL..) and sometimes I see yellowjackets - only if it's sunny out.

So, I am literally out there w/ my heart racing and running to and fro when a yellowjacket bursts out from nowhere into my face. I'm fine with normal bees, but yellowjackets... are like "gangsta insects"! Their motivation for their existence is to KILL KILL KILL.

I use those Bounce dryer sheets, but it doesn't always work. I've been stung by one before, and it hurt so bad I actually passed out. O_O

So, how do I keep those little segments of Satan away from me? Staying still when one approaches doesn't work - it's like nailing myself to a cross. I don't use fragrant products, or wear exceptionally bright colors.

I'm adding duct work in my house, and I've been told that I can just run the ducts up the walls and into the bedrooms on the second floor. The walls are load bearing and I was told I could just cut through the top plate and brace it.

Is this possible? If so how do I brace a top plate? Should I use oval ducts in walls?

I live in an apartment where they are currently remodeling other units in our building. The workers are using high voltage power tools, and the power went off in our unit, so an electrician had to come over and turn it on (and said they blew our fuse). Does this mean the workers are hooking their tools up to our power and we're paying for the electricity? I don't know anything about electric wiring, but this seems a little suspicious.
