It is an IDEAL Minimiser SE boiler which constantly has a pool of water on top of the boiler unit, appears to be coming from the outlet flue? How do I repair this if at all? Many thanks Chris

i was thinking of buying one of those plug in glade air fresheners, i wondered do they actually smell the room out nice, some of those gel type ones u leave around the home ,only smell when your nose is right up close to them.
we keep a indoor rabbit and need something to mask the rabit smell, we clean it out regularly as well but its still paranoia when guests visit that it may smell.
other then opening windows as well whats the best way to stop oder in homes too.

I am looking to create a fence for the back wall of my house that kind of has the properties of a garage door. The Reason I want to make it kind of like a garage door is because the opening to the back alley is kind of curved. But I need some ideas. Please help. I have some things in mind but I want to see what ideas are out there.

My grandmother just purchased a new rug to replace her old carpet. It moves very easily so it was recommended that she buy rug padding and attach it to the floor under the rug. She's worried that it will need to be stapled to the floor and in the event that the rug needs to be lifted/moved in a hurry she wont be able to move the padding, and it could get damaged.

So my question, more specificially: Is there another way to apply the padding under the rug without permanently securing it (ie: staples)? Or is there a special rug padding that doesn't need to be stapled? And in your opinion, will this alternative way make the rug just as immovable?

Thanks!

I live in Delaware, so it gets in the 20s sometimes in the winter. I'm planning to put plastic instead of existing copper lines.
The current configuration is very odd. The pipe goes underground and then up into the heater. But from the heater all pipes are exposed. I don't understand the point of burying one part and not the other. Any advice will be appreciated.

A friend put some regular dish soap into my dishwasher and now the thing is over sudding. I took all the dishes out and cleaned them, but there is still a resovior of water that is very soap rich and I am having a hard time draining that water (I did as best as I can manually and its not draining anymore on its own - but what is left has alot of the regular dish soap in there).

Is there any "home-made" remedy to de-sud the soapy water? I thought of the solutions made for hot tubs, carpet cleaning, etc - but is there any home remedy that would work? I tried salt - didnt make a difference. Anyone with any ideas on what to do? Anytime I turn the dishwasher on - it just starts to mix with the soapy water (even tho there isnt that much left).

Thanks in advance.

My new condo has many central air vents in the ceiling. However, in every room, the vents are all pointing towards the windows and sliding glass door. Is this right? Wouldn't they serve a better purpose pointing towards the center of the room??

The vents are un-adjustable, but I would be able to flip the direction of the air by unscrewing and re-applying the fixture on the ceiling. What should I do here? It seems to be working just ok, but I want to make sure I'm not using excess energy. I don't want Al Gore knocking down my door!

Thanks,

Steve

Ok... so I had an apple for work today and some other stuff. And since we have mice in our store I don't like to leave my left overs in the garbage. So I flushed it down the toilet forgettting my apple was part of it. So when I flushed it away, I was amazed that it went down and didn't clog.
It was only until my boss used it (only me and her were working today) that she came out and said the whole floor flooded with the toilet overflowing. She called clean up and they couldnt do anything. She called our DISTRICT MANAGER and they are sending some one in the morning. I am freaking out they would pull it out and find the apple! WHAT CAN I DO!?!?!? I don't know what to do, and I plan on going to work early so I can try to fix it... what if they find the apple? What if I get charged with the bill? What do they usually do when something is clogging and won't go away with the plunger?

My wife needs help hemming her dress pants. She wears them with heels and flats, and we cant agree on a length. When she wears them with open-back shows they tend to get under her feet. What is a good general length? I have heard with heels they should be to where the heel meets the sole. But that would make them too long for flats, right? HELP!

I believe I put too much oil in my 6.75 HP Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine. I changed spark plugs and the thing started again but the new plug was immeidately left with a charred end. Still, the thing ran, if not at optimum efficiency. My question is: will this problem correct itself or will running the engine with too much oil in it only lead to more problems?

extension cord. They run a 20amp airconditioner and full electrical from an outside outlet on our mobile home. Our light bill was over 300 dollars and they constantly ran into trouble with their A/C not running up to par.. meaning barely cooling their fifth wheel, and their power shutting off all the time. We just bought this house a month ago, and fear that it is their camper trailer that is draining our lights... but also, my BIGGEST QUESTION FOR YOU TO ANSWER IS, is this a major fire hazard for their camper and ours? What can we do to remedy this hazard etc... if they want to stay indefinetly? Thanks for your expertise.

Two years ago, all the leaves along a major branch shrivelled up and died in September. In the following spring, no buds appeared and the entire branch was dead, so I cut it off.

The tree was fine all summer. There was plenty of rain and water. Now, again, I'm seeing the same thing. Leaves turning brown at the tips, then the whole leaf turns brown and shrivels up. It's not the entire tree, though. Only certain branches - in groups about the size of a football.

What is the problem?

I'm a writer, and naturally have paper all over the place. Boxes full. I need to get it out of the boxes and put it somewhere but I have no shelves, no drawers, no filing cabinets, and I live out of town, so going to a Walmart for storage compartments isn't really an option. I have plenty of desk space though. What can I do in the meantime until I get a filing cabinet?

About two years ago I had a beautiful brick walkway installed. Now I see a few chipped places. What product can I buy to fill in these chips that is the color of natural brick? I don't want to use cement and then stain it because it will look bad. What are bricks made out of anyway?? And where can I get some? I live in the Los Angeles area. Thank you.
