I planted two blueberry bushes in the spring (one early season & one late season). Both had labels that they should produce fruit in the very first year, which the early season one did. The late season one never did. Both appear to be doing ok except that their leaves are turning red (fall in the northeast), yet we have not had a frost so far. Is there a soil deficiency that could be causing this & what should I do to counteract it?

These are first year plants in my yard so MAYBE 4 feet tall and very thin branches protruding from all around.

How do I cut it (or leave it be) to develop the few trunk like stalks I see every spring get clipped at around 6 feet tall to resemble huge bouquettes in late summer/ early fall?

I want to replace sliding closet doors with the bifold type of doors. How hard are these to install? I'm a bit of a do it yourselver but by no means am I a pro. Is this something I should attempt to do myself? Are there tips or suggestions or things to be aware of before I attempt this project? Any advice about measuring or installation will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

I live in the Inland Empire of Southern California and it gets massively hot in the summer, and I HATE to have to use so much water for grass, which my dogs pee on and kill anyway. Some parts of my yard have rock walkways (which they avoid and pee on my flowers instead) and wood chip paths which is too hard to clean their poo out of and they drag half of it in the house. I was looking at fake grass, but the only kind that can stand up to dog pee is WAY too expensive for me. And I absolutely will not put down concrete.
I have a bunch of empty dirt areas which is driving me crazy.
Any creative, relatively simple, suggestions as to what I can put down to have a "pee proof" yard?

Its the wooden one (not the metal EE cart)

I need someone to strip it down and revarnish it, polyurethane maybe and also repaint the metal areas on it. I would provide all materials I just need labor costs.

I am getting bids from people, I just do not have time to do it myself and need it done by january.

Does anyone have any knowledge what a good labor price is for someone to do this so I know?

I appreciate it.

Ok, so i'm mowing my lawn last week and i hit a big stick. Long story short, my neighbor had to tip the mower upside down to fix a problem with the blade. It was upside down for a few minutes, and when we turn it right-side-up, the oil and gas kinda poured out the top. So we start it back up, and it runs for about a minute, but spewing white smoke the whole time. Then it just stops running.

We checked the oil, and it was low, so we got more oil and added it. We also added more gas because it was low, and replaced the spark-plug since that was probably filled with oil or gas. But now, will plenty of oil and gas and a new spark plug, it still won't start.

It's been like 5 days, and we've tried starting it each day, and the first time you pull the cord it almost starts but doesn't. Then every pull after that it doesn't come close to starting. Then we try again the next day and the same thing happens.

Please help with any (useful) suggestions. Thanx.

My son has a project for school where we have to collect 25 wildflowers. I have put them in wax paper and taped the sides together, but they still seem to wilt or dry up. You can't even tell what kind of flower it was. Any suggestions.

I'm getting a house and had a survey done, and it said un-insulated cold water tanks in the loft.
What would happen if I left it un-insulated?
Can I do the insulation myself?
How uch would it cost, roughly?
