I have a Bissell Little Green Clean Machine and I'm wondering how to make the solution that I would put in the vac to clean up any stain on the carpet. Any ideas?

Homemade Cleaning Solution for Steam Cleaners
Fill the machine with equal parts white vinegar and warm water; then, clean according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Why This Works
The acetic acid in vinegar dissolves stains and also neutralizes odors.

You can use any brand of carpet soap. I use the $6 bottle of the orange scented soap from Walmart. It is non-allergin. There should be a line to tell you how much soap to put in and then fill the rest with hot water.
