Its the wooden one (not the metal EE cart)

I need someone to strip it down and revarnish it, polyurethane maybe and also repaint the metal areas on it. I would provide all materials I just need labor costs.

I am getting bids from people, I just do not have time to do it myself and need it done by january.

Does anyone have any knowledge what a good labor price is for someone to do this so I know?

I appreciate it.

I am a painting contractor and have done a lot of re finishing work and there is a lot of work involved in the total refinishing of that cart, stripping alone will be a very time consuming project, it wii no doubt take several coats of clear coat and I reccomend spar varnish. The wise person will not give you a total price as you never can guess how easily or difficult it will be to strip so it is foolish to estimate total time .So they will probably go with a per hour rate , I charge my time out at 50 dollars an hour.Depending on where you live it could be more or less.

Just came by to star in case one of my contacts is more informed than I am about such an undertaking. Horse and mule folks drive a hard bargain! We have a great bartering system in this area. You might want to check around and see if you can trade some training skills for a good refinisher with a snarky mule!

About the same as getting a car painted.

Maybe as much as $6,000.00
(six thousand dollars).
