The electricity won't flow through the paint mist, don't worry about that.
DO WORRY about losing your balance and grabbing the wire!
DO WORRY about getting to close to the wire and having a spark jump across to you!
DO WORRY about the ladder or anything else you've got close to the wire!
I hope I scared you a little, be careful and enjoy your new paint!

in case you had purely skimmed a room interior then it may well be dry in a week. in case you had rendered and skimmed interior then it might take 12 -18 months to good dry out so which you may placed a non-vinyl emulsion on so which you probably did no longer end the technique. On an exterior wall you're able to do neither. Non-vinyl paint isn't sturdy adequate externally and accepted outdoors masonry paint will act as a barrier to the water and might push off and blister. as a result, except you choose to take an excellent gamble go away it until eventually the tip of the summer season to dry out. there is not any primer needed for masonry. you place 3 coats of perfect exteriour paint on, the 1st one thinned somewhat to soak in. You never placed PVA or Zsinnser on render purely before portray. you in basic terms placed stabilising answer if the floor is friable (risky). As a majority of those issues end the emulsion soaking into your render they are not ultimate portray practices.

Dear Raymond,
Good Question, it is always good to respect electricity. Since you can't see it and it can kill you, I applaud your desire to find out fist. As Kate says it is insulated and will not create a problem. However to be safe, don't touch it! This isn't a perfect world and those lines can have cracks or splits in them. Also if you are using a metal ladder don't even get close to the wire or touch it with your ladder. If it is cracked you can still paint it with no problem. Then call the electric company and they will replace your wire for free. (because it belongs to them)Thanks for being safe and have a great day.

You can spray over the wires using the standard wide spray. It will not harm them since they are designed to withstand wind & rain. Just bon't spray paint the meter box.

The line is insulated, you can touch it without getting a shock - just don't cut through it or touch it is frayed. Go ahead, spray over it.

will you short-circuit the entire neighbourhood by spraying across the wires? If it were me, I'd cover the wires and connectors with cardboard or something and touch up afterwards with a brush

Don't worry about it. You can hold a piece of cardboard over the wire. Or, just skip around it.
