We are going to hold a yard sale on Saturday and I really don't know what price to place on items.
Clothes.
Books.
Shelves.
Vases.
Kitchen gadgets

What is a fair price and should I have a sticky label on things with a set price?

My friend's child was swinging on a playground swing and perhaps the sweat mixed with the coating on the swing left the grease stains. Please feel free to share how you have gotten such stains out or if you know how. Thank you so much!

Okay, my mom just go this BRAND new washer and drying, she's been saving up for them for about 6 months now. She was kind enough to let me use them, and DUMBY me, forgot to take the pen out my pants pocket, so now there is ink pen all over the inside of our dryer. I have tried using cleaner and scraping it with a tooth brush, but not even a LITTLE bit is coming off? What do I do! I really want to take care of it before she finds out, well basically so she NEVER finds out! Any suggestions guys?

Are there any common household products that could be added to a childrens swimming pool to eliminate or discourage the growth of mildew or any other potentially nasty germs that could end up in the pool?

I have some gorgeous (and expensive) sheets which each time I wash them, and I do follow the directions each time, they come out smaller and smaller each time. I love these sheets but I am not sure what to do. Is there anything I can do so they will fit the bed again? The flat sheet is fine, it's just the flat sheet which I am having the problems with.

I was ironing on my bed. When I went to get a shirt out of the closet, the iron tipped over, leaving a burn mark in the mattress. It left a tear on the top layer of my mattress. Is there a patch I could use, or some other method, to cover the tear in the mattress? I'm just worried the tear will spread, causing the padding to come out. If anyone has an idea how to repair this, I would appreciate it. Thank you very much for your help!

I don't want to just blacktop over them, because it's a very long driveway and we don't like the look of blacktop coating.

I've already tried bleach and TSP, neither to any effect.

Would powerwashing help at all? Are there any special organic treatments I might try that can dissolve the carbon deposits??

Our garden has tons of beautiful flowers, bushes, and other greenery, but being away from it for some time it has grown weeds. The bees are now covering most of the plants, so how are we going to get rid of the weeds?!? Any suggestions?

I just purchased one of those polyurethane memory foam mattress pads, but when I took it out of the package, I noticed that the polyurethane smell was horribly strong. Still, I slept on it, and now all my bedding and mattress (and frankly, my room!) smell like polyurethane to the point I need to rewash everything and not use the memory foam right now. Any clues as to how to get that awful "paint-like" smell to disappear from my memory foam mattress pad? If not, any idea how long until that smell coming from the memory foam will last? Will it go away on its own? I would really love to be able to use it again. I paid some money for it and it really is comfortable.

Was Just Curious..... I think some people just try to keep up with the basics......like emptying the trash and doing dishes every day, and doing the laundry and vaccuming and sweeping a couple of times a week (when needed)...etc....and some people dust and vaccume every day and endlessly tidy up so that there could never be anything out of place.......tell me, where do you place "yourself" within these two extremes?
