Oh sometimes bugs just fall in the pool from trees and crap. I mean your pool is outside right? There are bugs outside. It is likely that they will get in your pool from time 2 time. Its no big deal. They should be filtered out.

Check your chlorine level again, if it is correct no bug can live in the water.

we have a pool and if we don't cover it at night we get a lot of gnats. we also get, earwigs which are horrible but we just have to scoop them out and put the pump on to circulate the little ones through the filter.

bugs will fall into your pool every so often.
