I have a Dwarf avacado tree, Meyer Lemon tree, Washington navel tree, and stella cherry tree, each from 5 to 10 gallon each. My house faces to the east. From east to west is how I want to plant my trees, which has a spand of 50 feet from wall to wall. The other spand from North to South where I am planting the trees has a 10 feet spand. (I also bought root barriers for this).
- Starting from the East side (which is where the sun hits the hardest) which tree should I plant first, and second, third, and which tree should I plant towards the west side?
- On the barriers, which has a depth of 18", is there a certain technique?
Thank you..

I have purchased some "privacy" bushes and I want to put them in like wiskey barrels , kind of like raised flower beds so they will quickly grow taller than my 5 ft. city ordinance fence, will these shrubs/bushes grow in a wiskey barrel for a few years or ?? I know with many flower perenials they have a very deep tap root and this won't work but I know not much about bushes and shrubs but these new neighbors are helping me learn fast, here is what I bought on sale in 1 gallon : waxleaf privet, Oregon grape, butterfly bush, ...I tried to stick with evergreen I'm zone 7 in Or and our winters rarely get below 25, but once in a while. Teach my about bushes and shrubs the basics OK ?

Someone in my house punched a hole in one of the walls. I have it cut out so it's a clean square. Now, awhile back I heard about a method of repairing: You take a piece of sheetrock 3/4" larger on each side than your hole, then you peel the rock off of the paper for the 3/4". Then, spread mud on the wall (3/4" around the hole), then put the new piece on so the paper shows, mud over, let dry, sand, and paint. But since that was years ago, I thought I would look for the same method on the info-net (Making sure my method wasn't of madness :-P ) Has anyone ever heard of that, and is that the best way to repair sheetrock holes?
Thanks.

What are good ways to attract people to a garage sale?

Before we moved in seven years ago, my bedroom used to be a baby room so it's pretty tiny. My walls are disgustingly plain white. My curtains are this rich beige color and all my furniture [desk, shelves, bed, etc.] is light wood. My bedsheets are a theme of .. kind of nature mixed with red. Light red stripes with gray-ish green flowers and another gray-ish green sheet underneath. I was thinking of accenting the curtain/window wall with a light red [to go with my bedsheets] and paint the other three walls a deep, cream color with yellow mixed it and possibly a tiny hint of red if there is such a color.
So two questions... one, where can I look online to find like catalogs or something that show me all different kinds of wall colors? And two, what do you think of this design idea, would it work in my room?

I have a weight room that was originally a full length back porch that was turned into a game room, and now a weight room where I lift weights and train for MMA. Its a long story about what happened, but the skinny of it is that the weight room has been flooded numerous times over the years because it is 6 inches lower than the house itself, and anytime the back porch flooded, the game room would flood. I have fixed the flooding problem by building a permenant trench that runs to the far corner of the back yard, its a covered trench, works wonderfully.

Anyways, as you could guess, over the years a serious amount of mold has built up because of the moisture. Now that I fixed that problem, how do I fix the mold problem. I cant even work out for the full amount of time needed because the mold makes me very light headed and nautious because I am allergic to it. Any advice on how I can fix this problem quickly?

I purchased a heated towel rack from Bed Bath & Beyond only 2 months ago. I was in my bathroom this evening JUST about to run out the door when the thing just collasped & fell to the floor. The legs that the rack was being held up melted right through causing it to tumble over, still plugged in, onto the floor.

Thank GOD i was home to see it fall and i quickly unplugged it and stood it upward. This thing easily gets to about 120 degrees, and i'm almost sure that if i was not home the thing would have burnt my apartment down or caused some serious damage.

I am mad as hell and dont want to just complain to bed bath & beyond. This is a serious hazard and i'm willing to sue the pants off the idiot who made this product.

Where should i go from here? Send a letter to bed Bath & Beyond threatening to sue unless they settle outside of court? Write a letter to the maker of the towel rack? Any information on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I decided to make a vegetable garden and I specifically told her not to plant tomatoes because I saw on the news DDT is found often on them. I had to go out of town the next day and when I came back, I found out that she had planted tomatoes. So, I went out to the garden with a hoe, dug everything up and demolished it. She burst into tears and called me an inconsiderate ******* and said she wouldn't make a graden with me again. I said fine and that it would be better anyway, because she is too stupid to graden anyway. In all honesty, what is her problem?

Where you live do people hang out their clothes to dry?
Are there regulations about something so trivial?
I want to see how much money I can save not running the dryer constantly but I can't even find an outdoor drying line (or twirly) in any store and I haven't seen washing hanging in any neighborhood gardens.

Your thoughts?
