I have a weight room that was originally a full length back porch that was turned into a game room, and now a weight room where I lift weights and train for MMA. Its a long story about what happened, but the skinny of it is that the weight room has been flooded numerous times over the years because it is 6 inches lower than the house itself, and anytime the back porch flooded, the game room would flood. I have fixed the flooding problem by building a permenant trench that runs to the far corner of the back yard, its a covered trench, works wonderfully.

Anyways, as you could guess, over the years a serious amount of mold has built up because of the moisture. Now that I fixed that problem, how do I fix the mold problem. I cant even work out for the full amount of time needed because the mold makes me very light headed and nautious because I am allergic to it. Any advice on how I can fix this problem quickly?

Mold can be hard to get rid of, it is also hazardous to your health whether you're allergic or not. I would recommend hiring a professional.

First Don't go in the room with Live mold unless your wearing a N-95 mask you don't want to breath it.
Get some household bleach and a bucked put 1/2 water and 1/2 bleach in the bucket and using a sponge wet down the mold with the solution don't scrub just get it wet leave it a full day this gives the bleach time to kill the mold, ventilate the area prefer not into the house then go back in with your mask and eye protection and the bleach water solution and a scrub brush and sponge, and use the brush with solution to scrub the mold area then wipe the area with the sponge and solution, If this room is known to be damp allot you might think of a dehumidifier and fans to control moisture.
I hope I was able to help you with your question.

Depending on how bad the mold is in the wall you may have to have a professional come in... However, in the meantime.. You may want to wash your walls, floors with a solution of bleach and water.. About 1 gallon of water to a cup of bleach and wash all the surfaces, floors, walls etc... Then you'll want to get a dehumidifer to dry the area well and use some fans for ventilation.. If you have any carpeting it would be a good idea to get rid of it.... good luck

first put a mask on so you don't breath in the mold spores, then get bleach full strength and wipe down everything, keep the mask on while doing the bleach. this will kill all of the spores, if you have carpet back there it is best to take it out and do the floor to. be safe

Contact someone who specializes in molds, maybe city inspectors or realty companies can advise you.
