I have some gorgeous (and expensive) sheets which each time I wash them, and I do follow the directions each time, they come out smaller and smaller each time. I love these sheets but I am not sure what to do. Is there anything I can do so they will fit the bed again? The flat sheet is fine, it's just the flat sheet which I am having the problems with.

wash only in cold water then place in dryer for about 20 min on low heat ,next while slightly damp put on bed . this will help to stretch back out .Good sheets of 400 tc to 2000 tc 100% cotton should never be washed in hot water or left in dryer till they are cooked .This was your first problem. i always put my sheets back on the bed a little damp. this also helps to stretch and to smooth out the wrinkles.

I know it might be a pain but, try hanging the fitted sheet to dry or get some sheet grabbers from Walmart.. They look like mini suspenders and you attach them to the corners of the fitted sheet and tuck under the mattress..To keep the corners from slipping that might help.. I would if possible contact the company that manufacture's them and make a complaint.. At least they will have it on record and maybe give you some coupons or something for your trouble... Good luck

Yea the little gimmicks and games companies play to make money is terrible. The king being Cigarettes, and from there you can work your way down to shrinking sheets. Now a days no one wants to make something that will last, when it's financially smarter to make something you'll fall in love with and one day HAVE to replace. Examples of this are everywhere, you'll see them if you look.
