Okay, my mom just go this BRAND new washer and drying, she's been saving up for them for about 6 months now. She was kind enough to let me use them, and DUMBY me, forgot to take the pen out my pants pocket, so now there is ink pen all over the inside of our dryer. I have tried using cleaner and scraping it with a tooth brush, but not even a LITTLE bit is coming off? What do I do! I really want to take care of it before she finds out, well basically so she NEVER finds out! Any suggestions guys?

A small mixture of bleach or oxy clean should do it - use the toothbrush - make sure you rinse the dryer well with a rag and clear water after the toothbrush scraping - do not turn the dryer on for at least a few hours - you may also try to make sure the bleach mixture is sudsy - try a little dish-washing detergent with it (Dawn)

I don't know if you want to try this but you may want to use a fine grit piece of sand paper and lightly scrape the ink off. Any hardware store will or should have it. If you decide to take this route ask a friend to go along with you so they can help you expain your situation to the store representative.
Sorry about your situation! Best of luck! Let me know the out come sweetie! TakeCare Hope the ink goes away! David
Remember if you do this the sand paper has to be (fine grit) as to not leave any marks on the dryer drum.

If you can't get to the store quickly, try toothpaste. It has mild abrasives that will wear away the ink. Try a little with a green scrubby pad, or old washcloth/dishrag.

If that doesn't take it off, nothing will, and the ink won't come off on your clothes. Just apologize. Your mother may be upset, disappointed or crushed. She will get over it. If you do clean the ink off, be mature and admit that you made a mistake. Showing her that you corrected the error yourself will make her feel better about the way she raised you.

sorry to tell you, but its really har to get it out, if it'll even come out. The heat from the dryer, bonds it into the metal.
Goo luck though

Goof Off is your best best.

Don't use anything abrasive as it will scratch the enamel on the drums.

Good luck and she wont kill you... She is your mom after all.
