I don't think you can, water stabilizes itself at a certain level based on the design of the actual toilet. The curved pathway behind the actual bowl where water flushes basically keeps it at a certain level. If there's too little water, it fills up to the brim and anything above it will spill and flush away. Imagine filling up a cup with water. You can keep pouring until it's full at the brim, at which point it starts spilling. The only way to get more water is to get a bigger cup, in this case another toilet.
The floater that is in the reservoir only regulates how much water is being flushed, not how much water will remain in the bowl.

If you are talking about the bowl itself, then there is nothing you can do. It works off of gravity and the more water you put in it then it is like trying to overfill a glass, it will just run out and go down the drain. Good luck.

If you take the lid off your tank you shou8ld see about a 1" big tube in the middle of the tank. From the fill valve there should be a smaller soft plastic tube sticking down the larger tube. This is the tube that puts more water into your bowl. Sometimes this tube will come out and also sometimes it gets pinched off. Make sure it stuck into the bigger tube and is not pinched off. If this doesn;t help, you're out of luck unless you replace the flow valve as it may be plugged where the smaller tube hooks up.

Your toilet has no vent .ie a pipe that is connected to the main sewer (toilet pipe)that usally goes up to the roof line, which allows air to be sucked into the main sewer, what is happening is the water is becoming sucked down the pipe because no air can be sucke through..Remedy ..call a plumber

You can take the lid off the back portion and usually there is a floating device that pulls a lever to stop the water when it gets to a certain level. You can usually screw this floating device in or out so that it engages at a different level to allow for more or less water.

If it worked properly at one time check for a plugged vent line. If it didn't call a plumber.
