I have an exterior door with a window panel of thickness only 1-2mm (I put my thumbs on the inside and out to estimate). Can it possibly be glass? When I tap on it the sound is quite different from other glass windows I have.

this may seem like a ridiculous question, but my mom has been getting on my case about doing my own laundry.
i have some simple questions:
i have a white shirt with color on it, does it go with whites or colors?
reds go on their own, but what about light reds, like a pastel or purple?
and what about underwear? still color sorted? wash on their own?
thanks for any help!

Put in Ceramic til a couple years ago and it obviously doesn't go under my existing cabinets. How do I make it work if the new cabinets I select don't match exactly?

It came with 1 quart of oil, and I poured just a little in it, and it shows full on the dipstick.

So I'm wondering just how much does it hold, I don't want to run it on too little oil, and I don't want to put too much in.

My landlord claims I need to buy a new AC because the window unit I already have would cost "thousands of dollars" in damages. I've noticed lots of other brownstones on my block with window ACs, and they don't seem to be damaging the buildings. Also, I am only living here for one summer. My landlord has a history of exaggerating, so I'm wondering if I have an argument.

Hi I have a above ground pool 27,000 gallons. I had a chlorine demand problem so I had to dump 18 lbs. of shock in at one time. This made my water a very pretty blue but not clear. I can only see about 3 ft. down what can I do to get it clear.
My chlorine levels have been stable since I did this my ph is a little low but the pool store says it's normal from all the chlorine we put in it.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have nice countertops but they are white, and scratched. Is there anything, like using Fusion paint, that I can use to change the color of this material?

When we go to shower and we pull up the nozzle to turn the shower on the water pressure stinks. only half the water goes to the shower and the other half is still coming out of the faucet and into the tub. I want to figure out how to have all of the water going into the shower head. I think this will fix my pressure problem. I just don't know what I need to do. New faucet? seal? sledgehammer?

My roof is less than 3 years old. It was done 1 week before we closed on our home.
Last week I noticed damage from a leak on my interior wall. I contacted the contractor who grudgingly sent out one of his guys who sealed the multiple spots on my roof. My question is this, is the contractor responsible for the damage to my interior walls caused by the leaks?

How can I get rid of a bump in the carpet. It's about 12 inches from the wall in a doorway between the living room and dining room. Is this something I could do myself, or do I need to call a pro?
