Is there a type of paint that won't chip or peal off??

My son has a very horrible habit of peeling the paint off of his wall... Please help!!

Preparation is important. Using a primer helps seal to paint to the surface. Make sure the current paint is not peeling before starting the new paintjob. Perhaps "letting" your son help paint will rid him of this compulsion.
