Ok...I'm not trying to cheat the city or nothing.....I could see getting a building permit if I were putting in privacy fence or something like that.....but I'm just having to put in a flimsy lattice "screen" to keep my neighbors kids from throwing trash in my yard & tormenting my poor dogs. I already have an existing chain link fence (which the little darlings climb, it's only 42" high) so I just wanted to make a "screen" taller then 42" to keep the kids out.

I am on a VERY tight budget, and I guess a permit would run about $25 or so....I know that doesn't seem like much to some but it's gold to me. I don't see the point in spending it for a project like this...but I don't want to get in trouble either.

I live in a nice neighborhood that has gone downhill in a big way....my neighbors all build & tear down stuff all the time (like the farmer who bought the house behind me and now has kennel wire & hog pannel dog pens....about 5 of them all over his yard.

OK gals, I need your help. The rubber moulding around the fridge door is yucky. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought a hand held steam cleaner. What a piece of junk. I thought it would steam up and just melt that dirt from around the moulding. It didn't. Any ideas? Its easy to clean inside by removing the food, but the moulding seems impossible. I am a senior citizen and can't do too much scrubbing. Do you know of any other steam cleaner that would zip the dirt away? Or any other suggestion. Thanks alot.

Last year, I planted tomatoes and peppers in close proximity to a huge climbing rose bush. I am an experienced gardener, and have never had trouble with tomatoes before. My rose bush got black spot, and several days later, my tomatoes started to wilt and drop leaves.....just coincidence???/ does anyone know if a rose bush with black spot (which will not kill the rose) will kill a tomato plant????? Thanks...

I live on a large two acre property. we have a main house, a guest house, a tennis court and a ballroom on the premises and we don't have a designated backyard. We do have a lawn and a grass field. because we have wood floors and no one has time to potty train our dog (we got him when he was three and it's hard to train an old dog), we are forced to keep him locked up for hours every day while we go to school and work in a small 6' by 2' "pen." if anyone has any training tips or ideas and suggestions on how to install a fence somewhere on the property, please answer!

I have two links from PBteen.com that I would like everyone who reads this to take a look at:
http://www.pbteen.com/products/p2245/index.cfm?pkey=cgrlqls (this one's the quilt)
http://www.pbteen.com/products/p1354/index.cfm?pkey=crawram (this one's the rug)
I was wondering if you thought it might be a little too busy if I purchased both the BLUE/GREEN dottie quilt and the BLUE dottie rug (not the POOL dottie rug). Please give me your honest opinion.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
