Any edible oil goes rancid after awhile and smells pretty rotten to boot. Every February I decorate for our singles group's Annual Italian Dinner with as many authentic things as I can find. Included in my decorations are big empty metal tins of olive oil. This year when I pulled out of storage the olive oil cans from last year's decorations, it was evident I should've removed the oil from the cans-last year! Ugh. The smell was very unpleasant...so, do you know of a sure-fire way to rid the remaining bit of oily coating inside the can? Tanks Much!

and now it is white sticky gum all over them. (there were two jackets washed the same time.

Any kind of cleaner, method to remove, something if someone can help. Thanks in advance.

Screws are stripped and rusty and crossthreaded, toilet seat needs to be replaced. How do I get those dang things off??

I heard that pear trees have been successfully rooted to a hearty enough rooting system to survive the cold Canadian winters.To date i have not heard of any successfull pear tree owners.Does anyoneone have a success story to share,and possibly a source to purchase one for myself? I live in southern Manitoba ,Canada.

What is your favorite flower and why?

Mine personally- marigolds, memories from when i was a kid. In kindergarten we each got to plant a marigold, and I guess that's stuck w/ me ever since. They are such pretty flowers, and very underrated if you ask me. Everyone always wants the flashy flowers without appreciating the simple beauty ones.

We had to have our well pump replaced yesterday, how long before the well settles down, and the water tastes like it used to?
The company who replaced the pump told us when changing a pump it disturbs the well, and it would take time for everything to settle back into place.

I did not steal this! I am a 5th grader and my mom tried to help me (she couldn't get it off either) so she let me use her account. I would go back to the store, but i threw out the reciept and the sale people will think I stole it!!!! I don't know what to do :( Is it magnetised or something? Hi! This summer I would really like to freshen up my room with some new colours and furniture, My room is extreamly small im talking like 70 inches wide but it is like 10ft long. Recently we bought a small house that has no decorating or life to it what so ever. I have a living area that is fairly small and is boxed like a normal bedroom. I'm hoping to remodel and add some style, however first I need some paint tips on what colors would suit a room like this. Inspirational lavenders and pinks are what I was hoping to paint however I want a almost dark hazelnut color in as well. These colors could be the total opposite of what I actually paint, but I need your help and ideas. thank you.

it seems so small & fragile but they say it works great! we have about 95-100 broilers and we are wondering if it really works. how fast does it pluck a broiler? can you butcher and pluck 95-100 all in one day using the drill plucker? all you do is just plug it into the drill (stabilize it) and keep it running?

MY FIRST FRONT LOADER, AND I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE AMOUNT OF WATER IN THE TUB. THERE IS ALSO NO CONTROL FOR WATER LEVELS. IT IS AUTOMATIC. THE CLOTHES GET WET, BUT THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL WATER IN THE MACHINE. LOWES AND FRIGIDAIRE ARE TELLING ME THAT THIS IS THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. I DID A LOAD OF TOWELS WITH AN EXTRA RINSE, AND AFTER DRYING, PUT A TOWEL IN THE SINK AND ADDED WATER, AND HAD SUDS COME OFF THE TOWEL. I AM USING 1/2 THE "HE" SOAP IT SAID TO USE,
SO THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM.
SO, MY QUESTION IS THIS: IS THIS THE WAY YOUR MACHINE IS, OR DO I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MINE??

DO YOU THINK YOUR CLOTHES ARE GETTING CLEAN?

WHEN THE WATER ENTERS THE MACHINE, IT IS ONLY FOR ABOUT 8-10 SECONDS, AND THEN IT STOPS. THAT IS ALL THE WATER I GET!!!

This is going to sound really stupid, but I have 3 brand new black light posters that I've had for the past week and nothing seems to work when I try hanging them on my walls. I've used putty, this sticky foam stuff, and some other type of poster hanging material. None of these work when hanging them up. They will stay for like 2 minutes and slowly begin falling again. Im so sick of this! I never new it would be so hard to hang a poster. haha Do any of you have any ideas? I'm trying to lean the opposite direction of just plain tape because I hate to damage my newly painted walls, however if its my last resort I will use this.
