Something that looks "wild." Any ideas, I am in zone 7-8. I am also hoping to get something that will stay green in the winter months or atleast grow back come spring.

The exterior of my townhome is brick and vinyl siding. I want to paint the brick a light tan color. Overall, I estimate it's about 500 square feet. How do painters determine the cost of a job like this? Do they use a spray gun or a roller? Any advice on what to look for in a good painter or good bid?

I have a light colored countertop, and there's a red Kool-aid stain on it. I can't say exactly what type of countertop it is, but it's not granite or slate or anything like that. I would say it's probably one of the cheaper types of materials. I know that's not much help. Any advice would be appreciated.

We are looking into costs of either brick and block or timber framed houses.
Finding land is proving quite simple, but we need to know the costs of having the house built.
Any help or information gratefully received.
Thanks

While rushing to an appointment this morning I ran into my boyfriend's mailbox (and the others attached to the post) and knocked it over. It's kind of old and wood and it looks like it ripped at the bottom so it's not as simple as just shoving it back in the ground. I'm not handy enough to know how to fix it, and I have no idea who I would contact about paying for a repair.

Help :(

I'm looking to sell my condo to get a bigger place. Wondering whose had good experiences with what companies. I tried First Weber and didn't like my realtor very much. He didn't really help us at all. Any suggestions? Also, I'm looking for any suggestions to help my place sell better.

When I lift weights at the gym my nike short starts to stink, and I know that alot of people don't wash their behind; and that causes the short to smell. Just to let you all know, I always wash my behind with soap after going to the bathroom!!
I can't wash the short with hot water, because it says wash with cold water only. I've tried using Clorox bleach free but it didn't work.

I hate disgusting people:(

I bought my condo about two years ago. I installed a new ceiling fan in my living room, which works great. I also bought a ceiling fan for my bedroom. I installed it the same way as the one in the living room, but the light doesn't work. The fan works just fine. Is their something wrong with the wiring, or the fan? I've changed the light bulb, so it isn't that.

I want to purchase a cheap chandelier to use for my wedding, but I don't want to actually wire the thing to the ceiling, I just want to plug it in to use for the night. Is this possible?

It's my daughter's first birthday, and I was wondering what little things should I do to my house before her b-day. I already painted the bathroom and put new vinyl titling down. My kitchen is my main concern. The flooring is missing some tile, my walls are different colours tan and white, but not perfect lines, cabinets hang off the wall a little and the countertops need to be replace..in two weeks..lol. Crazy me, What should I accomplish first?

I've got a problem with my Menvier TS400 house alarm and the external siren was sounding for no reason(the user code wouldn't deactivate it). I cut the mains power to the alarm and its now running on battery power. I want to compleatly de-activate the alarm so it won't ever go off, how do i achieve this?
