There is only one real way to do it right, you need to install an ultraviolet emitter on the evaporator coil in your homes heating and A/C system, the emitted UV rays will sterilize the air passing through your ventilation system leaving your home smelling like fresh mountain air ! In addition to that benefit you will also cut down on the spread of cold and flu and other airborne pollutants

Opening all the windows and doors for at least 5 or 10 minutes a day will help circulate new air into it. Also, air purifiers help. If you have a Rainbow vaccuum cleaner, or any vaccuum cleaner, you can leave it on room by room for a couple of minutes. This will suck up airborne particles to avoid dust. The Rainbow one works wonders because the air particles get trapped in water and then you just have to throw out the water and your room air will be cleaner. I do this regularly in my daughters room to help her cope with her sinus condition...

This house is so huge that one section would not scent like a number of different! The rooms which I now not use are closed up and that i purely bypass away the vent open in there. those rooms have a faint scent of lilac from the wash. I surely have 3 rooms like this and one bathing room. The upstairs is a huge media room. It has no scent that i can detect as this became James', "guy cave." i won't be able to scent his cologne there, yet his closet is yet another tale! I shop that door closed and as quickly as I pass over him horribly, i bypass in there and that i can scent him. The open areas in this abode all scent like apples and cinnamon. I consistent munch on small nutrients. One is a path blend I make myself. It has dried apples in this and that i've got a small bowl on the counter. If i want something candy and straightforward, I bake an apple with cinnamon and a tab of butter. In as lots, those smells have permeated my abode. i can bypass away and are available returned purely to sniff the fragrance of apples and cinnamon.

Keep it clean and air it out frequently.
People forget to open windows for a few hours each week; any amount of air fresheners is a poor substitute.
