Our house is from 1978 with Galvanized Pipes / maybe some might be iron pipe under the house but I'm not sure, its all insulated and hardly any clearance. I don't think any of the previous owners ever flushed the lines or drained the water heater in the past. My old water heater (30 gallon) was so bad it only gave me 6 minutes of hot water. It's since been replaced with a new 30 gallon and the tub works great. I replaced all the pipes i can without going under the house.

Is there anything to fix the clogged lines, the bathroom sink Hot is clogged and the Hot & Cold in the kitchen are clogged. I've had people tell me to backflush it with air from the sink but im not sure of the exact procedure. Just looking for more ideas, maybe there is something special wire to run in the pipes to clean them out?

I'm going off to college in the fall, and I'm trying to decorate my bedroom and bathroom. My bedroom has a lime green w/zebra sheets and lots of things around the room with the zebra print. I really really want a zebra print shower curtain and/or bathroom ensemble (rug, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, etc.) I've looked and looked and looked, but can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know where to find zebra print bathroom stuff?

The toilet is only two years old, and our other toilet (which is 10 years old) has no musty odor and is fine.I can smell the odor immediately on entering the bathroom, I know mustiness is a sign of moisture or a leak and I sniffed around the base of the toilet, and other areas in the bathroom and it only seems to be coming from the toilet tank in back. I can't figure out why just the toilet tank smells. Any suggestions?

I need to build a shed as cheaply as possible. What can I use for inexpensive siding? Can I use the really cheap plywood and slather it with paint? I know I can use that T11 stuff but is there anything cheaper?

We purchased a new 2 seater lounge recently, made from olive green velvet like material. (mental blank as to the correct name.. oops)
I just discovered my kids put a small blue pen mark right in the middle of one of the cushions!
I have been told to use 'rotten milk' but I don't really like that idea as I think that would make a mess that also stinks. Any Ideas? I just don't want to make it worse...

I want an old world, renasance, gothic bedroom. The room is huge, theres a seperate room leading off the bedroom thats also pretty big with 2 windows and 2 closits. I think of it as a "dressing room" In the bedroom, Theres a coved ceiling only on 1 wall,I need a color to start with for the walls, and another to paint the celing, also something for that other room. I like earth tones. Any Idea's to spark my imagination? I wish I could get a canopy bed but the ceilings are too low. So I was thinking of making my own with curtain rods hung around the bed on the ceiling with drapes or sheers hanging from them. So tell me your Ideas please!

I am buying my first home and.....oh buddy.....it's a fixer-upper, BIG TIME!!! I have alot of plans for it, but am kinda confused on what to do first. Can you do Eletrical before drywall, or should windows before drywall. HELP!
oh, yeah, I'm way to cheep(broke) to hire a contractor.
And is it easier to do 1 room at a time, or should I go for it and do it all at once.
Oh, sorry 1 more question. Can I get a loan on my house even if it's not paid off yet?

But the water level just rose again. Then it would gradually go down and when you flushed it would rise again. I plunged at least for 1/2 an hour. Please help!!

I bought a house in December only to find out that the tub is leaking. I know the previous owner knew about this because the crack was under the bath mat and you can see that they tried to patch it. What is the average cost to replace something like this including labor?

looking for comments, suggestions:

i want a heavy duty extension cord for my rv.
i want to run a small tankless water heater (which i was told at the store is 220 40amp and 8 gauge would work),
and an average home size arc or mig welder,
a 15amp space heater,
and another 15amps or so of other things.

the water heater and welder and maybe the space heater will not be used simultaniously.

i want a breaker at the main box leading to a stove/dryer outlet next to the box,
about 100' waterproof? flexible? cord with stove/dryer plug and outlet on each end -
which plugs into another stove/dryer plug at the rv, which powers a box in the rv. i want a main breaker on the box that will go off befor the breaker at the main box.

i was thinking of using something like a 8/4 cable with 2 wires for black for water heater and welder, one more black and one neutral for the rest.
and maybe the neutral could double as a ground for the other two?

My cabinets and floor are light oak, counter top is black and tan specks ( granite looking) and my appliances are all stainless steel and black. Ceramic backsplash is taupe. I wanted a berry color but all seem to be too dark.
