To hold the roof down..Large boulders are too heavy and will colapse the roof..Or a parked car on top will do the same..Now an old refridgerator is not too bad and covers more area..An old stove or two will do as well...

I live in the middle of a mega-trailer park. Must be 1000 of them here. And I have not seen a single trailer with tires/wheels on the roof. Not a single one!
When you purchase a new mobile home these days, the sale typically does not include the wheels/tires or the towing tongue. The outfit that sets it up will take them off.. and return them to the manufacturer.
Tires on the roof? Strange.....

to keep the tornados away...i have no idea...looks tacky and doesn't work on the tornado issue. but to keep the metal from blowing does sound logical...give that man a thumbs up
