I'm going for a Bamboo theme in my bathroom and want to try to grow some real bamboo to put in there for decoration. Does Bamboo have to have sunlight at all times or will in grow in the bathroom even with the lights off? I'm not looking for anything huge just a few shoots in a small pot. Any tips or ideas are appreciated!

I am getting alot of calcium chips through my cold water pipes. There are none coming through the hot water and I am thinking that the calcium is going into the hot water tank (which is not good). I live in a mobile home but have not been hooked up to a well. I have city water, but all these calcium chips are clogging everything up. I called the city and they came and checked my water and said the calcium balance in it was fine. And they checked the water coming into the trailer and said there was no calcium coming in from there.

The only thing they said it could be is a chemical reaction caused by having 2 different pipes connected together. How do I find out where the real problem lies before I go spending alot of time on something that won't help? (They said this is a 1 in a million chance)

Is it even possible to dig up trees of this size? If so...HOW??? Any suggestions or help??? I know that one of the trees has been in the ground for 4 years...

Thank you!!!

Structural Engineering Question....

I am curious as to what the difference is between a Universal Beam (UB) and a Parallel Parallel Flange Panels (PFC).

I get the impression a UB is like an 'I' beam and and PFC is like half an I beam (that is, the letter 'u' lying on its side!!!)

Also what do the three measurements mean when these items are specified, for example....
200x90x30 PFC
254x102x28 UB

I assume this means height, depth, and guage... with length left unspecified initially if being used to bridge a stairway opening as an example?

Thanks for any information.

I got one of those mounted shower soap dispensers (like this: http://www.amazon.com/Shower-Soap-Dispenser-Mirror-Cabinet/dp/B0007W7QF8/ref=sr_1_24/104-6223302-8143143?ie=UTF8&s=bedbath&qid=1172852544&sr=1-24). I put it up with the stick-ons and the silicone glue as it said in the directions, but I can't figure out how to take it off now that I need to move! The directions don't say anything about how to take off the silicone glue, and I know that's what's holding it on. Help?!

The gas line goes deep into the back of the oven and there is no valve to shut the gas off. It looks like there may be a nut on the end of the gas line, but I cannot figure out how to loosen it (it's too deep inside the oven). Please help!
