What are the best products for cleaning and waxing Pergo wood floors?

As a laminate installer, I am asked this question by customers every week. Pergo laminate flooring should NEVER be waxed. Also avoid using anything containing soap. Clean with a damp sponge mop and hot water. You can add vinegar or ammonia if needed. Laminate cleaners are also sold at home improvement stores but they are pretty much water and ammonia or vinegar. Always make sure that all standing water is removed immediately or your floor will be damaged. Acetone can be used for spot cleaning.
