i'm doing a renovation job for my company and all the walls are old plaster. the lath behind the plaster just eats up sawzall blades left and right. grinders and such are dusty as hell.we need nice clean cuts on the walls that don't come out. i've delt with this stuff before and haven't really found a good way to do it without dust and without 50 packs of sawzall blades. how bout you?

It holds and spins at the same time, allowing the person to cut in designs and shapes. it's super useful, but I think I've only seen it on Bob Vila's 'This Old House.'

My husband and I both work full-time jobs, and I just don't see how to keep my home clean without devoting an entire day to it once a week. After a draining work week, I only want to devote ~2 hrs of my weekend, so my house is never really neat and clean. What works for you?

I want to redo the landscape of our new home, the previous owners didn't do much with it.

We want to do a border around the front of the house with big rocks as the border and plant some pretty plants and flowers, anything with color and some greens too. Also, what should we use inside the border? rocks, or just the soil as it is, or bark?? We don't have any big trees in our yard so it would be exposed to the hot sun most of the day. Also, Houston gets quite humid, so what plants/flowers would survive the heat and humidity the best? Any suggestions?? Thanks!

We had the alarm fitted around 18 years ago, (can't find a model No) and i need to disconnect it from the mains. As it has anti- tamper features, it will ring while i disconnect the main supply and remove the battery from the main unit, but my fear is that the external bell will continue to ring, and i don't have access to a ladder, is the external bell likely to have a seperate battery or not?

I saw one in a catalogue and said "acts as natural sunlight". Can I grow corn? A big crop of corn if I get enough of these in greenhouse.

I know corn with grow in greenhouse with sun in a big pot so don't tell me I need ground.

If I get fifty of these lights can I grow corn fast as sun or will growth be slower.

Or do I need this many. Could I use fewer?

Honeywell Smartfit system came up with a fault F04. Instruction manual advised checking the 3-port valve for blockage and/or malfunction in the electronic actuator. We have replaced the 3 port valve body, its associated actuator and connecting lead and checked the integrity of the connecting lead. In spite of this it still displays the F04 fault.

The central heating system is now working on a manual overide but would like the system to be working normally.

Any suggestions

I have a small household water cooler that I bought from Lowes. Recently my wife plugged it up without any water in it. It no longer cools, though the hot water function still works. Is this a serviceable problem or is this unit dead?

Here's the deal. I am considering offering a friend my services to help clean his house. He is single taking care of 2 children by himself so I know his money is tight. It is a 3 bdr/ 2 bth home. I would be doing both bathrooms, kitchen/dining area, vacuum carpets & clean wood floors (kth/din), living room. I would also be doing misc. cleaning & dusting as need such as walls, windows etc. I was thinking of either once a week or bi-weekly & would like to just charge him a flat rate. If you're asking "How cleaning is this house to begin with?" just think average single man who works full time w/ 2 young kids.
