try resolve carpet cleaner. I have no complaints with it.

well it depends on the stain red wine stain comes out by pouring white wine on top leave a few min.s then blot with kitchen roll then wash with your own hair shampoo, lay towel over damp area, with heavy object on top of towel this will help to dry the underside of the carpet leave like this over night . Most stain´s with juices tomato sauces will come out with tepid water and a little of your own shampoo . work´s just as well as carpet cleaner

The older the stains, the tougher it is to remove them. You could get it shampooed.

first you should attack the stain while it's still wet
second work from the stain outside in
third take a teaspoon of baking soda and two teaspoons of water and blot the stain vigorously.
then put a wet papertowle on the stain, put something heavy on top of it, and wait a couple of hours.
then it should be gone
