My dishwasher usually gets the dishes clean, but leaves some plates looking nasty. And whenever I put drinking glasses in, they are always covered in grime and small particles. I rinse the dishes first, so thats not the prolem. Is there any way of cleaning your dishwasher and getting rid of any left behind particles?

Does it need to be done every few years or once and forget it? Also before applying sealer (assuming it needs to be done again) does the shower need to be let dry for a day or two? Thanks in advance!

wrap them in plastic or coat them with water proof coating? It seems so simple and would prevent so many problems.

Cause I just framed a whole bunch of them and there are a few that would look excellent in the bathroom. I was holding them up to see how they would look, when it dawned on me that I have never seen pictures of people in anyone else's bathroom. Is it too weird to have pictures of the family in there when people are doing their business, or not?

Had dishwasher & small portable electrical heater running when it stopped. I went to check the box to reset the switch. It was on "on" position so I pushed to "off" then "on" again. Still none of the outlets are working. Any suggestions on what it could be. My plugs on island are regular outlets - meaning does not have a red/black button that I can reset. Do I need to replace fuse in box? Thank you for any help!

I inherited decking around a chalet which has the wrong type of screw, so orange rust marks are showing. I made enquiries but no one really wants the job of replacing over 300 screws...and I'm past doing the job myself...just wondered if there was anything around which I could just paint over them with? Its the usual type of thing seen all over caravan sites - white plastic decking. I'm female so don't get too techical...LOL and thanks for any answers. Elaine

I wanted to know is there any way to repair the plastic ends of the frames that rest above your ear? My dog unfortunately chewed off one of them and now just the metal frame is exposed.

I already know that cleaning them professionally is an option but that it too expensive for me. Plus, they said that it probably doesn't need cleaning becasue my house is only 7 years old. It just started stinking here recently.

I have a beautiful bouquet of long stem red roses that my husband gave me for Valentines Day. So far I've kept them fresh by putting them in the fridge every night and they still look brand new. Now I want to dry them though and use them as decoration in my living room.

I know that usually you are supposed to hang them upside down in a dry, dark place to dry them, but we live in a very humid area (right now the thermometer says the humidity is at 56%).

Would hanging them upside down in a dark place still work or is there some other trick I need to know?

Oh, and FYI, I live in North Africa and we do not have arts and crafts stores here. Any tricks would have to be something simple that I can do at home without having to buy anything special.

We found a nice house, completely renovated and to our taste. We thought we would have no work to do, but now we learned that we have to redo the whole outside brick wall, plus the roof. We will renegociate the price but I think that we will end up paying more in the end, not counting that we will have to have the work done, when we thought we had peace of mind. Should we just drop it and keep on looking, or buy it even if we end up paying more?

They are everywhere. One of them has chewed through my spice rack, sending all my spices tumbling to the floor. Another has started sleeping in my bath, which makes washing difficult to say the least. What can I do?

Looking at potentially building a summer home. Not crazy about Viceroy home designs, but like their system. Do you know of any others?
