I am going to be redoing my bathroom and want to replace the inserts for the walls above the tub. Is it better to get the full wrap around piece or three separate pieces that you have to use cauking to seal together?

I'm looking for some websites which contain some kind of home design plans or floor plans. Also anything with interior design pictures showing materials used and things. I'm just looking for some ideas while I design my own house. Thanks!

I have recently found an old sewing machine and figured it would be good to patch up some clothes, but I have forgotten how to thread the threads through. The only site I found was on ehow and it keeps going to not responding so I can't look at that. I was wondering if anyone could help me out or know a site that helps. Thanks

We live in an apartment complex and had to put down a deposit when we first moved it. So, somehow my wife put a 1 inch hole in the sheetrock and I have to find a way to patch it up without being too noticable to the landlords. They are very down to earth and cool with us, but I don't want to lose my deposit over this... Any ideas?!?!

Are there any COMPATIBLE vacuum sealer bags/rolls brands out there that ACTUALLY works just as well as the FOODSAVER bags/rolls, that costs a bit less? What brand and where? I've been on eBay already, and am skeptical of the sellers. Only experienced users PLEASE! Thanks.

We drink a lot of fresh ground coffee everyday & have lots of leftover coffee and the grounds. We compost them usually but I've heard somewhere leftover coffee is beneficial to certain plants. Any ideas? Thanks, Julie

Our house is equipped with a hot water boiler system for radiant heat. The boiler is 40 years old and we've never had a single problem with it other than having to replace zone valves. With proper maintenance how long will one of these boilers last?

I have an old 1900's house which is built on stone & mortar foundation. My question is can I use the spray foam insualtion to seal the gaps in the stone foundation & at the same time water proof the basement from future leaks? I have read on some different foam sites 3 inches is need to mee tthe retarder barrier for water proofing. Any help is great thank you. Or is there a better way to fill in ALL the gaps in the stone wall & seal then.

I have 3 cats and thought they might enjoy some toys made with catnip. I bought seed but have found no answers as to how to start the seed.
Do I start it indoors and then transplant outside, or direct sow?
And how much light does the plant need to thrive: full sun, part sun, or shade?

I have a Maxim volkera 24e combi boiler and recently the hot water has started running hot and cold. The central heating is working fine it's jusy the hot water at fault. Also the pressure indicator keeps dropping off to zero, i can increase the pressure by opening the two valves inderneath. Does anyone have any ideas how to remedy this without having to go through the costly routine of calling out a plumber? Cold showers are not nice! Cheers.
