False but this sounds like homework. The tomato hornworm is the caterpillar stage of the lovely sphinx moth. If you remove by hand, put is somewhere away from the tomatoes so it can complete its cycle.

I guess technically its true since a human is a biological entity, but I think using preying mantis or other insect predators to control pests is really what they mean by biological pest control.

True, it is one of the best methods.... handpick and remove.

I always grow organic heirloom tomatoes, being organic the best and only way that I have concluded is to hand pick them and remove them.
