I used to work for Terminix. I installed and serviced a number of Sentricon systems. I am no longer in the business, so I'm not trying to sell you anything. The system does work, BUT, it has to be properly monitored and serviced.
Advantages of Sentricon over traditional chemical treatments:
no one is drilling holes all over your home.
no chemicals contaminating the ground water and environment.
no issues with chemical odors
Disadvantages:
if it is not properly monitored and serviced it will not eliminate the termites
it takes several months to be fully effective and the termites are still eating your house while you're waiting for it to work.
Thoroughly investigate all your treatment options. Compare the prices, guarantees, and company reputations and references. Make a decision based on that information and your budget. Sentricon is expensive.

They are common devices used by Termite companies here in Texas.I don't know if they are any good or not.My pest company just puts poison in the ground around the foundation.
