Hello,

We have a house that was built in the mid-50s within which very few outlets are grounded. Also, the service panel was installed outside and has no master switch, and the box is very rusty. Before I consult some electricians, I would like to educate myselfa bit.

Is it possible to relocate the service panel in the basement and also upgrade it at the same time?

Thank you!

I'm planning on buying a dinnerware and flatware set service for 8, i'm willing to spend around $200. I typically want a "casual" set, nothing too fancy, but nothing too cheap. Any suggestions?

I've tried every product known to man, including the old baking soda and vinegar trick. My back won't let me do serious scrubbing. Is there anything that will take off the scum without causing a trip to the chiropractor?

going to the switch. How do we figure out what the switches go to? Other switches in each of the 3 boxes work fine.

My landlord is the queen of "I can't afford to fix anything." so, before she blames me for rotting the wood in the bathroom window sill, I would like to fix it and paint it myself.. it's currently peeling and getting gross. I want something easy, maybe a scraper, or I think there is some goop I can put on it to remove it. What do you suggest?

Were remodeling our house and getting new countertops. Were undecided between granite and corian. I personally like the seamless corian where the sink and counter is all one piece. But I don't know how the corian sink is to take care of. In your opinion which do u prefer? and why? and whats the difference in price? how much does each go for per sq foot? Any input helps. Thanks!

I understand that other doorbells etc can cause interference & trigger ringing. The thing with this doorbell is the normal doorbell ring "ding-dongs", however when it has chimed in the night it has been the "big ben" chime! The normal doorbell "ding-dong" has never been triggered by anything else. As far as I can tell it's not supposed to have multiple chimes. Can anyone shed any light on this??

There were bugs in my flour and other carbohydrate foods. They were tiny, pill shaped, and black. I've gotten rid of the food but they are still crawling around in the cabinets. I need a safe way to get rid of them.... since it is the kitchen I do not want to use pesticides or other chemicals that can get into food and potentially cause problems for humans. How do I go about doing this and what should I use?
