when I try to clean it it shows every streak. Is there a product that is specifically for black stove tops? This isn't a flat top electric stove. It is a regular gas stove.

The top surface color has already tuned light, but the sides are still dark indicating it hasn't completely cured. What is the best way to tell if it's ready to have 1/4 inch holes drilled on it, and anchor bolts put in? The holes will be 1 inch away from the sidewalk edge.

We hung our new bird feeder on a ceiling hook on our back deck, however we haven't seen any birds come to it yet. I tried resting the bird feeder on the ledge of our deck but no dice. The only tree we have on our property is a small tree in the front yard, but I would love to keep the bird feeder in the backyard. How can I get birds to come to it?

The problem we have is that the Lantana's are 3 years old and have grown "leggy" and have taken over the planting beds. We know that we have to replace them but our problem is picking out a plant that is as colorful and has a long bloom period. We do not want annuals that require re-planting every year.

We have a boiler system, but we've never had one before and we've only moved in about a year. I've heard that it's best to have it serviced annually - we're not on a monthly payment plan - would the engineer just come and check it as and when we ask or would we have to be signed up to a plan? Also, how much would a one-off visit check cost on average?

A friend says a wire may have come lose on the adaptor and that I should take the plate off and check for lose wires. Is this something I can fix myself? (I have trouble putting batteries in a flashlight correctly.)

These new regulations (PE something?), what does it mean if your electrician doesn't have them, though is otherwise qualified? Is it true you have to pay another electrician to inspect his work, thus paying twice for the same job?
