My room is filled with all of my stuff, and my daughter's and some of her things expands into the living room too. Give me tips on how to move a big bed around in a small room, and other things too.

Organize and you may need to get a friend to help because you can't see what needs to be done and how it should go. You can raise bed up onto risers so you can use the underbed space for storage. Have one space for daughter, and another for you. Things you use accessible, and things you don't put away in bins. Be ruthless and toss stuff you really don't need. Store memorabilia. Teach daughter value by donating to less fortunate.

First off you need to go through all of this "stuff" and get rid of things you're not using. I don't know how to move the big bed around as you'd not provided a picture of the room. Get some storage boxes which can fit under the bed and start there.

First, sort thru the stuff with a critical eye and toss as much as you can or give it away, bring it to a consignment shop, whatever. If you can, hang shelves on the wall, or in the closet and start stacking stuff on the shelves to get it off the floor and away from the living area. At the very least go to Target or Walmart and buy some under the bed storage boxes, pack, pack, pack, and hide as much junk as you can under the bed, sofa, and other furniture. But I really think it's necessary to "downsize" first, otherwise you just play "musical stuff" with constant re-arranging.

i agree, you need to weed some stuff out and then it's all about storage! get some cute baskets or boxes to hide everything in and keep small nic-nacs to a minimum so it doesn't look cluttered.
